Genie’s Crystal Therapy came about through my personal experience. I was given an amethyst crystal following a severe illness, being told at the time that it was ‘a healing crystal, for healing and pain relief’. It was pretty, and a gift so I wore it regularly.
Over time I came to realise that when I didn’t wear it for a couple of weeks I had pain, and when I began to wear it again within a short time the pain decreased or disappeared. I put this idea to the back of my mind for a while but began visiting craft fairs and rock and gem fairs. The rocks and crystals fascinated me, I found them so beautiful.
During a period of stress I was recommended to buy a piece of angelite, which I found very calming and peaceful. From these experiences I decided to research crystal therapy and so my journey into complementary therapy began.
I studied at the Natural Healing Centre in Goole, gaining a Diploma in Crystal Therapy (ACHO) and becoming a member of the SVA (Spiritual Venturers Association).
I also studied Crystalotherapy with DaEL Walker, gaining a Diploma and a Teachers Certificate.
I also hold a Practitioner Certificate of Melody Crystal Therapy.
To complement the therapy I have a shop to enable clients to purchase crystals which I have personally selected, and jewellery, some of which has been made by myself or my husband, using natural gemstones and sterling silver.
